Hand made in England by master luthier, Mike Walsh.

Body:  American swamp ash with a Cocobolo bookmatched facing with multi laminated hard woods for the centre core.  The body also has Maple and Cocobolo veneers running through it on the edge.

Neck:  Canadian rock maple with Paduk stringers.  The headstock is caped with Cocobolo. The fingerboard is Birdseye maple with gold detail around the black maker dots.  The edge dots are black.  The fingerboard has a Paduk stringer running under it. There is an Abalone “Zoot” inlay on the headstock.

Top nut is Warwick/ABM adjustable.

Scale:  35″ 5 string.

String spacing: 18.5 mm

Bridge:  Iceni sustain bridge with top load and/or body thru’ stringing.

Machine heads:  Hipshot ultra-lites

Fitted with John East custom 2 band. Bass boost only. Treble Boost/Cut. Mini switch 1 is for the Bartolini soap bar (Dual tone) which is a three way: Up=Parallel humbucking, mid=single coil, down=series humbucking. Mini switch 2 is an Iceni low pass filter  (Deep switch). Two volumes one for each pickup. 18 volts via Gotoh 18V quick change box on rear of bass.
